This Wednesday, Dr. Kim Hombs, DVM, owner of Atrium Animal Hospital in Charlotte, NC and Harmony Pack member, will be our guest this Wednesday, January 23rd. Her professional passion for integrative veterinary medicine blends conventional and natural complementary therapies. Dr. Hombs is certified in Veterinary Acupuncture through IVAS and Chi Institute. She is also certified in Chinese herbal medicine, tui-na and food therapy. In 2010, she became certified in the use of Therapeutic Class IV Laser. In March of 2015, she became a Fellow in the American Association of Veterinary Acupuncture. She is currently the only Fellow in North Carolina and one of twenty in the country.
Dr. Kim is going to focus on flea, tick and lawn pesticides and how to avoid using them and exposing our pets and wildlife to toxins. She'll also share safe alternatives to keep our pets parasite-free.
