Greetings! This week we have the pleasure of hearing from the Porcupine Council. Porcupines are one of only a handful of animals who have sharp spines for defense purposes. Found in Europe, Asia, they are mostly nocturnal herbivores. In North and South America they are tree dwellers. Most porcupines are about 60–90 cm (25–36 in) long, with a 20–25 cm (8–10 in) long tail. Weighing 5–16 kg (12–35 lb). They live long lives; one named Cooper, lived to age 32!
The porcupine has been admired and respected for their quills. They are not able to "spray" quills like skunks spray. They have to be attacked by "someone" who gets a nose full of barbed quills as a result.
What do they wish to share with us about their physical role on Earth as well as their energetic/ esoteric mission?
What do they wish to teach us? Join us to find out.
