This week the Ostrich Council has asked to join us. This should be fun and fascinating. We've never heard from them before.
Ostriches are the largest flightless and heaviest bird on Mother Earth. They've been here around 21 million years. There are now only two species, both of which live in Africa. I had the privilege of seeing some ostrich families when I was in Kenya. There was an Arabian Ostrich which went extinct due to hunting in the mid 20th century. (so recently :( )
